The Position
The CX Comms Intern has the remit to help design, plan, implement, and measure integrated communication concepts, content and tactics that drive business objectives in the Customer Experience and Solution Design (CXSD) team in Roche Diagnostics Solution. CXSD helps integrate solutions, design and develop diagnostic instruments and create digital technologies and sustainable design strategies that are aligned with the Roche brand and manage customers throughout their entire lifetime relationship, and in turn address urgent healthcare challenges.
As a CX Intern, you'll work closely with a creative and fast-moving team to coordinate and create multimedia content that solves customer problems. The communications you create will help internal stakeholders to understand how we can scale the CX topic in Diagnostics. This role is responsible for helping to bring the Customer Experience and Solution Design strategy to life across diverse customer communications formats, by planning content and activities that simplify and strengthen the customer experience
Main tasks:Planning
Support the development and delivery of integrated communications concepts and campaigns
Support integrated communication planning, including metrics.
Apply knowledge of communication insights; metrics and decision principles to tailor communications tactics.
Leverage multiple data sources to provide data-driven analysis and content recommendations, with a commitment towards continuous improvement of the customer experience.
Continue iterating on, testing, and optimizing content to help uncover the most successful approaches.
Stakeholder engagement
Accountabilities
Conceptualizing, developing messaging around various topics of design and customer experience;
Supporting internal & external communication programs, initiatives and events
Supporting the further development of communication tools and channels that help engage and inspire internal and external stakeholders to be active ambassadors for Roche customer experience.
Manage departmental gSite, Currents community, and Roche News;
Continuously improving the communication process by keeping the communication dashboard on Monday up to date

Who you are
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Student with a Bachelor Degree at least in the area of Journalism, Communications Public Relations.
Moreover you are/have:
1+ year of experience in corporate communications, preferably in healthcare / HealthTech / technology
Demonstrated passion and ability to support communications activities
Demonstrated ability to plan and execute communications activities and campaigns
Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate all types of content and to use technology, digital tools and data to prepare, measure, analyze and make recommendations for content.
Demonstrated assessment and objective evaluation skills, with an ability to comprehend and translate complex topics into manageable pieces and messages
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a highly matrixed organization
Good strategic, clear thinking: interest in healthcare/diagnostics industry and ability to apply communications methods to develop and plan communications activities support strategic plans and approaches
Good organizational and planning agility and active listening skills, ability to extract and quickly process key information, summarize key needs or interests of stakeholders and provide respective communications insights and recommendations
Good interpersonal and collaboration skills: proven track record of building strong and sustainable relationships with stakeholders
Influencing skills: consistently optimize results through skillful collaboration with others, influencing without authority
Self-motivation: able to thrive in a non-hierarchical, self-organizing environment, where teams form around projects and initiatives
International work experience (preferably)
Fluency in English and German (verbal and written)
