Aufgaben, die Sie voranbringen

The traineeship starts on the 1st of September 2018 and is limited to 18 months with the possibility for a permanent hire. During the traineeship you will get an insight in 3 different departments of Axpo Trading depending on the business need e.g. Risk Management, Market Analysis, Trading IT.

Your tasks:

Support the daily business and take-over operational and strategical tasks in three departments of Axpo Trading
Take part in projects
Build up broad and practical know-how within the trading business

Ihr Profil, um gemeinsam etwas zu bewegen

Master university degree in Engineering, Economics, Quantitative Finance, Computer Sciences, Physics or Mathematics
Experience with quantitative applications and databases (e.g Matlab, R, SQL, Java, Python)
Strong interest in the energy sector
Analytical and joined-up thinking
First work experience as an intern or student employee, ideally in the energy sector
Willingness to take on responsibility
High degree of initiative and flexibility
Fluent in English and German level B2 is a must
