The Position
The purpose of this internship position is to be part of scope area Project Management and Controls within DTR Global Capital Investment and Real Estate. The main tasks are related to Cora PPM and benchmarking.
For Project Portfolio Management, Roche Diagnostics uses an off the shelf solution for overseeing capital investment projects. Regarding benchmarking, Roche Diagnostics has implemented a Power BI solution, which will serve as a database for the gathering of cost and schedule data.
During the internship, you will:
Be essential in successfully obtaining the buy-in from key stakeholders. In addition project related support tasks will emerge requiring research and analysis, organization, communication and clerical skills.
In the Project Portfolio Management digital solution, you will:
- Ensure monthly reporting process takes place
- Validate reported data is valid and in line with requirements
- Seek for process improvements
- Overall Cora PPM support
In Benchmarking, you will:
- Coordinate the delivery of project feedback forms at each funding stage
- Validate the quality of the data submitted in the feedback forms
- Coordinate the upload of the data into the benchmarking solution
- Validate the quality of the data uploaded into the benchmarking database
- Seek for opportunities in improving the process

We are looking for a highly motivated student with a strong enthusiasm for Project Management and Controls within DTR Global Capital Investment and Real Estate, who is interested in process engineering and construction industry.
- You are enrolled in or have recently completed your Bachelor or Master degree (not longer than 12 months ago) within preferably engineering or a related field.
- Experience in project controls in capital investment projects, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Professional use of the English language. Other European languages are beneficial although not mandatory (German, Spanish, French...)
- Understanding of portfolio management tools
- Understanding of Project Controls requirements (forecasting, data analysis, scenario building)
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills (job requires cross-cultural/matrix collaborative interactions)
- Pragmatic, out of the box thinker
- Proactive and looking for partnerships within the Diagnostics (and Pharma) network
