Join a dynamic team of media relations and thought leadership professional, positioning Siemens Smart Infrastructure in press, social media and events.

In your role, you will be working closely with different team members and learning across the different disciplines in the function. You will support with compiling and understanding analytics, sending out press releases, and bringing in your own creative ideas when it comes to storytelling formats.

Your new responsibilities

  • Support the team particularly on topics related to media relations and thought leadership analytics, as well as coverage compilation
  • Assist in planning and dissemination of press releases to target groups, as well as coordination with external agencies
  • Collaborate with team projects such as press trips, conferences, other, including with administrative tasks
  • Upload and handle image and video to content management systems and internal databases
  • Enter and secure orders for various services in the communications team


Your skills and experience

  • As a Working Student: Currently enrolled at a Swiss university or a University of Applied Sciences (Bachelor or beginning of Master)
    As an Intern: you just finalized your Bachelor and are available to work between 80-100% until you start with your Master's Degree
  • Studies in one of the following fields: Communications, Business Administration, Economics, Data Analytics, Humanities or equivalent
  • An interest in storytelling, media work, or communications topics
  • First experience or strong interest to learn about media relations and thought leadership as well as analytics
  • Ideally you bring along first experiences in writing in English for external channels
  • Ideally you have a creative writing personality with analytical skills
  • Dedicated, open-minded personality who enjoys working in a diverse team
  • Sound MS-Office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Office 365)
  • Advanced business English required; conversational German is a plus
  • Available to start as soon as possible for at least one year (you should be enrolled at the university minimum for as long as the contract lasts; or between your Bachelor and your Master)
