At Roche, we believe it's urgent to deliver medical solutions right now - even as we develop innovations for the future. We are passionate about transforming patients' lives and we are fearless in both decision and action. And we believe that good business means a better world.

That is why we come to work each day. We commit ourselves to scientific rigour, unassailable ethics, and access to medical innovations for all. We do this today to build a better tomorrow.

Targeting tumor-infiltrating Tregs-likely as part of a multi-modal treatment strategy including CPI and radio/ chemotherapy-offers an exciting treatment paradigm to re-establish anti-tumor immunity and break immunosuppressive networks within the tumor microenvironment. RG6292, an afucosylated human IgG1 antibody currently in Phase1 clinical trials (WP41188), depletes selectively CD25++ Treg cells whilst allowing intratumoral cytotoxic T cells to thrive unhindered on IL-2.

We are looking for a highly motivated scientist to join as PhD student the CIT-3 Department at Roche Innovation Center Zürich (Schlieren, Switzerland). You will work in close collaboration with in vivo pharmacology, toxicology, modelling & simulation as well as global renowned oncology experts to establish an understanding of the interplay of CPI with RG6292 mediated Treg depletion and optimize the treatment regimen accordingly.

The Roche Innovation Center Zurich (Schlieren, Switzerland) is active in the research and development of engineered therapeutic antibodies, with a focus on the fields of cancer immunotherapy and immunotherapy in general. Part of the Roche Group since 2005, it employs about 130 people.

We contribute our share towards achieving our mission and to make our vision of personalized healthcare happen. We offer you a multicultural workplace in a modern environment, which at the same time requires you to be open-minded and adaptable. You provide us with examples that prove your ability to cultivate collaborations with different partners. This also means that you continuously compare your results with others and acknowledge the benefit of collaboration and communications.
