  ANMELDESCHLUSS - EY: Become the next Young Tax Professional of 2018

  EY is continuously looking for talented students being interested in tax. For this purpose, we offer you the chance to participate in this year’s „Young Tax Professional of the Year” challenge. Take the chance to gain practical experience and make a lasting impression on our firm.
  
  The „Young Tax Professional of the Year” award has been attracting tax enthusiasts since 2011. This year, the event will consist of three challenging rounds. You are going to solve tax related tasks, and both your knowledge and creativity will be required.
  
  Are you up for the challenge? Apply now! Show us that you are among Switzerland’s most qualified young tax professionals and win a trip to Amsterdam to participate in the
  international finals.
  
  How to become our next Tax Talent in 2018:
  

  • Round 1: Register online and submit your CV till 3 October 2018. This will include completing a web based multiple-choice-test with ten tax specific questions and answering one open tax question within 60 minutes.
  • Round 2: The ten best applicants from round 1 will be invited to the Swiss finals on 9 and 10 October 2018 at the EY office in Zurich. On day 1, we would like to get to know you better and to spend the morning with you in Zurich. After lunch, we will divide you into teams in order to solve a challenging case study. On day 2, the four best applicants will go into an individual single challenge and pitch their second case study to a top-class EY jury. Participating is definitely worth it: The winner will fly to the international finals in Amsterdam.
  • Round 3: The national champions of over 25 countries will take part in the international finals in Amsterdam from 24 to 28 November 2018. There will be a series of case studies followed by interviews in front of a jury, which will select the three winners of the competition. The best of the best will win a 30-day business world trip including visits at EY London, EY New York or EY Hong Kong.

  
  
  Who is eligible to participate?
  
  

  • Not currently employed by another Big 4 company
  • (Ideally) Master students in business and economics or banking and finance
  • (Ideally) Law students focusing on tax law
  • Bachelor students close to their final exams who ideally have completed a tax-related internship
