  Jeden Tag eine gute Tat, diejenige des 26.Mai 2016 folgt hier:
  
  Sei ein Lebensretter/in und registriere dich als Blutstammzellspender/in!
  
  Wann?
  26. Mai 2016, 10.00 Uhr - 17.00 Uhr
  
  Wo?
  Careum Bildungszentrum (Haupteingang Careum 1), Gloriastrasse 16, 8006 Zürich
  
  Wer?
  Alle gesunden Personen im Alter zwischen 18 und 55 Jahren, die u.a. folgende Kriterien erfüllen: mind. 50 kg schwer, keine Hepatitis B oder C Erkrankung, kein Herzinfarkt, keine Krebserkrankung.
  
  Wie?
  Komm am Marrow Stand vorbei. Eine Bestimmung der Gewebemerkmale (HLA- Typisierung) durch eine Mundschleimhautprobe wird in wenigen Minuten vorgenommen. Damit bist du im Spenderregister und kannst mit deiner Stammzellspende vielleicht einmal jemandem das Leben retten.
  
  Wieso braucht es Personen, die sich für die Blutstammzellspende registrieren lassen?
  Für unzählige Menschen mit einer Erkrankung des blutbildenden Systems ist eine
  Transplantation von Blutstammzellen die letzte Hoffnung auf Heilung. Leider ist es sehr
  schwierig passende Spender zu finden. Erfolgsentscheidend ist dabei eine optimale
  Gewebeverträglichkeit zwischen Spender/in und Empfänger/in der gesunden Blutstammzellen. Wegen der hohen genetischen Variabilität hängen die Chancen für das Finden eines geeigneten Spenders/Spenderin vom Umfang des international geführten Spenderregisters ab. In dem ist bisher nicht einmal 1% der Schweizer Bevölkerung eingetragen. Es ist also wichtig, dass auch du dich eintragen lässt!

  Become a life-saver and register yourself as a blood stem cell donor!
  
  When?
  26th of May, 10:00-17:00
  
  Where?
  Careum Campus (main entrance Careum 1), Gloriastrasse 16, 8006 Zürich
  
  Who?
  All healthy people age 18- 55 that fulfill these criteria amongst others: at least 50 kg., no hepatitis B or C, no history of heart attacks, no history of cancer.
  
  How?
  Visit the Marrow stand. In just a few minutes using a cotton swab test, your own tissue type will be identified (HLA typing). You will then be added to the donor registry and perhaps one day, you can save a person’s life with your own blood stem cell donation.
  
  Why is it necessary for people to register in the stem cell donor registry?
  For many people with a disease of the blood-building system, a stem cell transplant is their last shot at healing. Unfortunately it is very difficult to find a matching donor. An optimal tissue compatibility between donor and recipient (HLA match) is crucial for the success of the transplant. On account of the high genetic variability of tissue types the chances of finding a matching donor depend on the extent of the international donor registry. At the moment less than 1 % of the Swiss population ist registered. Therefore it is very important that you register as well!
