  Swiss Re Challenge Workshop
  Join this event to challenge Swiss Re Managers and learn more about this Fortune 500 company.
  
  Saturday, 7 September 2013 ; Registration required by 30 June 2013
  
  
  Dear students and postgraduates
  
  We would like to invite you to this unique opportunity to meet and challenge middle managers participating in the Swiss Re Leadership Development Programme - and get to know and better understand Swiss Re, its business and organisation.
  
  What is the Swiss Re – Leadership Development Programme (LDP)?
  The LDP prepares selected managers to take over more senior leadership positions at Swiss Re.
  As part of the programme, participants will have to organise and prepare this mini workshop
  where they will market and present Swiss Re to you (25 students and post grads from a range
  of faculties) in a most authentic and convincing manner.
  
  What is in for you?
  

  1. You will get the opportunity to challenge the Swiss Re managers by critically reviewing what is presented to you and by asking difficult questions. In a pre-briefing you will be given enough background information to enable you to play this role of a challenger.
  2. You will get the opportunity to learn in depth about a globally operating Fortune 500 financial services firm with Headquarters in Zurich.
  3. At the end of the session you will get an official confirmation from Swiss Re that youhave participated as Challenger at the Swiss Re Leadership Development Programme which you can use in your CV.
  4. You will be invited to the inspiring Swiss Re Centre for Global Dialogue overlooking the Lake of Zurich at Rüschlikon and join a networking lunch at the end of the workshop.
  5. You will get a lump sum of CHF 60.— for your travel expenses.

  
  
  What are the prerequisites?
  You should be ready to challenge Swiss Re managers by critically evaluating what you hear and by asking challenging questions.
  You should be interested in learning more about Swiss Re, its business, markets and culture.
  Your oral English should be good enough to actively participate in a conversation in English.
  
  How can you register for the workshop?
  In order for the Swiss Re middle managers to optimally tailor the workshop to your needs,
  please send us a short e-mail which includes:
  
  o First name and last name
  o Your faculty / field of study
  o Your degree programme: Bachelor, Master or PhD
  o What is your major interest in participating at this event?
  o What would you like to hear about Swiss Re from the managers?
  o What makes you a good challenger for the Swiss Re managers?
