Serve as a Working Student - Communications Specialist with special focus on the Annual Report (Process/Production Manager) in planning, production, printing, distribution, translation. Enable Communications knowledge exchange and foster best practice throughout the Group.

Your Role As a Working Student your main responsibilities will involve:

• Support the development, scheduling and production of the print and online version of Zurich’s annual reporting suite.
• Support overall project management in the production of a publication: manage relationship with internal editors and reviewers, translation agency, content management tool supplier, designer, printer, auditors.
• Manage German translation of Annual Report, Annual Review and Letter to Shareholders. Ensure consistency of terminology together with translation agency. Edit and cross-check German language versions.
• Plan printing time and provide information on print run, distribution list and other relevant information for printer
• Manage global distribution of all financial reports. Manage and maintain global distribution database
• Finalize and prepare final publications for internal upload and as web-version to be published on zurich.com

Your Skills and Experience As a Working Student your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

• Enrolled at an University or Fachhochschule
• Excellent communications skills
• German native speaker with German text editing skills and/or experience with translation management
• English – excellent speaking, reading, writing, editing knowledge
• Experience/familiarity with editorial content management systems (Incopy/Indesign programs)
• Excellent IT skills: MS Office, Adobe Professional
• Experience/familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) a plus, but not a requirement
• Experience in online publishing a strong plus
• Produce consistently high quality work under strict deadlines and stress
• Maintain a high degree of flexibility regarding workload
• Able to set priorities, work carefully and precisely, be pragmatic and uncomplicated
• Excellent team Player
