The Position
We are looking for an energetic and dynamic intern who can support the Scientific Communications Team with strategic planning, organizing and hosting meetings, coordinating stakeholders and vendors, all in relation to ensure the timely development of scientific publications with exciting new data from our diagnostics assays.
From the start of your internship, you will shadow a Scientific Communications Manager and eventually progress to owning your projects, hosting meetings, and gaining tangible experience in scientific communications strategy.

Insight into the Medical Affairs function - importance of medical value and communicating data
Variety of tasks - specialized project management
On the job training on the discipline of Good Publication Practice - the strict compliance environment for the development of industry publications
Insight into study data from different disease areas
Interactions with multiple stakeholder across the medical and commercial functions in the matrix organization

To be successful in this role, you bring the following:
Currently enrolled as a student or have recently graduated in biosciences related field with a large interest in communications
Experience of Database tools or project management tools, computer savvy (ie. Microsoft, Google+)
Great communication skills; energetic and dynamic personality
Proactive and a process driver
Aptitude to identify roadblocks and troubleshoot
Creative and innovative thinking; ability to streamline processes, or suggest new process
Great skills in English, written and spoken

The internship will start in as soon as possible for a minimum of 6 - 12 months. Applications need to include a CV and a motivation letter.
