??Doing now what patients need next?. This is driving us forward, at Roche but also very specifically in our Knowledge Management group. Are you ready to make a difference as an intern for Information & Knowledge Management at Roche? We are looking for Knowledge Management (KM) and Computer Science (CS) enthusiasts with a keen interest in delivering and supporting advanced solutions at the interface of the Computer- and Life Sciences. KM increases the productivity and efficiency of every one of our company's employees. We deliver services, processes and solutions that help an organization of several thousand researchers to manage and analyze their information. As of today, we are looking for someone joining us on the quest of increasing our clients time, reducing the number of unnecessary time consuming tasks. We have started the implementation of an automation tool to update tasks on Trello board, bringing all users on the same page with regards to task status. Now, we would like to scale our solution and increase the number of functionalities for our end users. We, such as all projects within our Knowledge Management team follow the agile method within a very large IT organization, but embedded in a research & development function. As an intern, you will be fully part of the team - which means you share all the fun & all the pain.
Your main accountabilities will be (depending on your skills & interests):
Interact personally with our stakeholders and partners
Discuss and gather requirements from our end users
Create new functionalities for our end users in ActivityFlows
Create, organize and hold trainings for new end users joining the ActivityFlows community
Create marketing material and organize and hold roadshows for new end users
Contribute to the definition of the projects next steps
Interact and align with dependent projects within the Knowledge Management Team
Who you are:
You have great ideas and you like to bring them to the team so that the team can reach its goals
You are organized, hands on and you feel comfortable in an international environment.
You quickly take up new information and topics and you like to dive into unknown waters
Quality of your delivery is very important to you and you strive for excellence.
Furthermore, you are an enrolled student in a University program with focus on Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Pharma, IT or related fields and you like to think creatively and tackle problems.
What you need in your toolbox:
Very good communication skills and you can adapt them to the addressed audience
Ability to present ideas in a clear, comprehensive manner, aligned with the goal you want to reach
Independent working style, yet also in a very high performing team
You possess organizational and administrative skills
Experience in software development and programming is a plus
Lab experience or a Chemistry/Biochemistry background is a plus
Fluent in German and at least basic knowledge in English
