The Zurich Risk Room (ZRR) team within Group Risk Management is responsible for delivering country risk data and insights to Zurich?s commercial customers around the world through the ZRR platform. The ZRR is Zurich?s proprietary country risk analysis and visualization tool, which helps companies with international operations cutting through the complexity of ever-changing risk environments and reach their full potential in making better informed risk management and strategic decisions.
As part of our team, you will work as a key stakeholder in the organization, development and management of the Zurich Risk Room. You will be support in delivering a medium- to large-scale IT and data management/visualization project with internal and external project stakeholders. Furthermore, you will play a key role in the development of Zurich Risk Room customer use cases, the maintenance and further enhancement of the Zurich Risk Room data operating model and the extension of the Zurich Risk Room data universe
What you will do
- Develop and enhance the quality, integrity and reliability of the Zurich Risk Room data model in close coordination with the team?s Data and Operations Manager
- Identify areas of improvement of the current Zurich Risk Room data universe, including new data relevant to our customers? needs
- Support the Zurich Risk Room team in formulating and implementing proposition development, marketing and go-to-market strategies
- Participate in the development of Zurich customer use cases and projects
What you will bring
- Completed Bachelor?s degree (or equivalent) preferably in Statistics, Business Administration / Management, Economics or similar
- Previous working experience in Insurance (Underwriting / Risk Engineering / Claims), Risk Management, Strategy / Business Development / M&A, Operations or other related corporate functions; additional experience in Management Consulting / Advisory is an asset, but not mandatory
- Willingness to work flexibly and tackle new challenges in a fast-changing environment
- Proactive mindset with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Very good knowledge of MS Office and hands-on experience with a statistical software package and/or a programming language (e.g. R, SQL, Python)
- Proficiency in English, knowledge of German and other languages is an asset
