The Position:
The molecular technologies group is looking for a student who will support the team in designing and optimizing an automated workflow to allow for easy, efficient and high throughput RNA isolation from mammalian cells and tissues for gene expression analysis. An experienced associate will supervise you. You will join a multinational team of highly motivated associates and scientists.

You are enrolled in or have recently completed a Bachelor or Master degree within life science, biotechnology or a related field. You are an enthusiast of new technologies and you easily show engagement with people.
Job Duties:
- Identification and validation of suitable RNA isolation methods and kits
- Establishing and optimizing an automated RNA extraction workflow
- Operating an automated platform
- Regular presentation of the current status and results
Skills and Qualifications:
- Ambitious student who is currently enrolled in life sciences, preferably in the area of molecular life science/biology with an affinity for IT/digitalization
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent organizational skills and highly reliable
- Team player with very good communication skills
- Hands-on experience in RNA isolation and/or genotyping is a plus
- Fluency in English is a must
