Our SAP Application Security & GRC Team is looking for you! 

With increases in the scale and importance of the global regulatory landscape, complexity of our clients’ business models and the significance of SAP S/4 HANA in their digital transformation strategy, keeping ‘Secure” has never been more important.

Our SAP Application Security team sits within our Technology and Digital Risk operating unit, which is part of Deloitte Risk Advisory, one of the fastest growing practices in Deloitte. In combination with our global leading SAP practice, we can offer market leading career growth & learning opportunities. We are looking for a team-player, from industry or professional services, who is open to challenges, willing to help our clients secure their SAP applications and continuously expand their knowledge in the area of SAP security and GRC. 

What you can expect to do 

• Learn and experience how to holistically (network, application, database layers) secure SAP systems, which are the beating hearts of the majority of the largest companies in the world
• Understand and apply the art of addressing IT and business risks associated with SAP systems through using state of the art GRC and IAM solutions
• Support and shadow senior team members in the managing and delivery of the complex SAP projects to the prestigious clients
• Analyse clients’ business and IT setup from the security and compliance perspective, identify requirements, define the strategy, translate them to a sound approach and implement the technical solution
• Interact with senior stakeholders from the client’s organization and consult them in terms of finding the right answers to the problems they are facing within SAP Security domain
• Play a role in shaping Deloitte’s SAP Security & GRC team assist in commercial aspects of business development activities, engage in R&D initiatives to define and implement new tools or frameworks, help establish partnerships with third-party providers

What you offer 
We don’t expect you to have deep SAP security knowledge, business/compliance understanding or a lot of commercial experience for this entry level Consultant role. In order to grow successfully in this role, we do expect you to be able to demonstrate the following:

• You have a solid understanding of IT architecture and development as an IT/Computer Science (or similar) graduate you will find your way around SAP systems much more easily
• You are interested in the business processes the nature of SAP systems will reward the ones that are keen to understand the business aspect and gradually become familiar with that domain, as the majority of our projects are heavily exposed to the business side
• Having an analytics, data science, or data engineering background would also be an advantage
• If while/after studying, you have also had internship experience, that would be a plus
• You are not intimated by problems and unknowns you define the right approach based on the skills you have already and facts at hand, supplemented by the knowledge you gather in order to fill in the gaps that you are facing
• You can learn quickly on your own and synthesise the gathered information to be able to understand the context of your work
• You are independent and have a strong sense of responsibility you treat your duties like your own problems, and you go the extra mile to solve them
• You challenge status quo your out-the-box thinking drives you to question existing solutions and voice your ideas on how to continuously improve the world around you
• You are ambitious and like challenges you get satisfaction from solving problems and delivering solutions
• You must be completely fluent in English, fluency in French or German would be highly advantageous
