DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:

As an intern within Group Audit you will assist in the execution of audit engagements, including activities such as scope determination, risk analysis and documentation of audit results in line with Group Audit Standards, under appropriate supervision and guidance. You will have an active role in the team meetings and Group / Country initiatives that will help you develop a variety of skills.
Your Role
As an intern within Group Audit your main responsibilities will involve:
- Build a foundational understanding of Group Audit standards and methodology.
- Operate on smaller/less complex assignments, with sufficient guidance and subsequent review. Specifically, perform audit tests as per the designated audit program.
- Perform audit tasks, document audit observations and contribute to creation of audit reports in line with Group Audit standards.
- Support the Audit team / Auditor in Charge in obtaining agreement on corrective actions and delivering the final audit report.
- Track the implementation of agreed audit actions.
- Report project status at regular intervals, as defined; in case of any risks / issues anticipated, highlight the same to relevant stakeholders.
- Develop own knowledge and business awareness by managing own available resources and interacting with audit counterparts at the same level.
- Participate in team meetings and other Group and Country events and initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of better work practices, simplification and automatization of day to day work applying innovative thinking.
Your Skills and Experience
As an intern within Group Audit your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
- Bachelor or Master student in Business Administration
- Excellent German and English language written and verbal skills essential
- Experience in Finance, Accounting or Audit is an advantage
- Strong analytical skills, methodical, rigorous attention to detail and able to identify issues and solve problems
- Self-driven, motivated outcome-oriented personality
- Good inter-personal and communication skills
- At the time of the internship, you need to be enrolled at university or a center of further education
