FCF Group Functions Controlling supports a wide range of Business Partners, including Pharma Informatics, Diagnostics IT, Group Infrastructure & Solutions, Group Functions IT, Global Procurement as well as the Corporate Functions.
FCF is organized in two Chapters: Business Finance and Operations Finance. The Operations Finance Chapter is called Center of Excellence and is using its core finance and process expertise and financial compliance as a base for innovation, standardization, automation and simplification. To drive value we provide the best possible support to our colleagues internally (the Business Finance chapter), other finance organizations and the business itself. We strive to be a self-organized team that leverages agile tools and has an agile approach.
Your main accountabilities will be (depending on your skills & interests)
Help us to find opportunities for automation and simplification and SSE basic and sophisticated technologies to further the process
Document and visualize processes to enable knowledge sharing and stakeholder training
Support and take the lead in various ad hoc tasks as well as projects
Constantly review of our financial processes and procedures and recommend improvements and/ or new ways of working
Support the set-up of new reporting to enable insights generation
Develop an understanding of Group Finance as well as Group Functions processes

You are an enrolled student or recent graduate in a University program with focus on Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or IT. You are a naturally energized person and motivated by the opportunity to learn, build value and influence tangible business outcomes. You have a creative mind and are a standout problem-solver.
What you need in your toolbox
Experience in RPA, Tableau or other reporting and automation technologies
Experience in working in gSuite and Microsoft Office products
Strong communication skills, verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate amongst different levels of the organization
Great teammate and self-motivator
Independent, dedicated and a forward-thinking attitude
Structured thinking and results driven demeanor
Experience in SCRUM and agile ways of working is a plus
Proficient in English
